On November 22, 2022, Ding Xuequan, president of China Tungsten Industry Association, and his party visited CISRI for exchange. Zhang Shaoming, secretary of the Party committee and chairman of board of directors of CISRI, met with President Ding Xuequan and his party. Zhao Dongliang, member of the standing committee of the Party committee and deputy general manager of CISRI, attended the meeting and chaired over the symposium.

President Ding Xuequan thanked Chairman Zhang Shaoming for his warm reception. He fully affirmed the brilliant achievements made by CISRI, and warmly congratulated CISRI on its 70th anniversary of founding. Ding Xuequan introduced the basic situation and key work of China Tungsten Association the 14th Five-Year Plan of the tungsten industry and relevant situations. He pointed out that tungsten was widely used in many fields of national defense and military industry and national economic construction, and the technological progress and product quality of tungsten directly affected the development level of industry. CISRI is a national team with strong comprehensive strength in the field of metal materials. This visit to CISRI is to “borrow strength” and “borrow wisdom. He hoped to speed up the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan of the tungsten industry with the help of CISRI’s advantages in talents and scientific and technological achievements. He hoped that both parties would strengthen exchanges and cooperation, gather strength in the application of scientific research projects, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and establishment of platforms, so as to promote the high-quality development of China’s tungsten industry and serve the national strategic security and economic development.

At the symposium, Vice General Manager Zhao Dongliang expressed his warm welcome to the visit of President Ding Xuequan and his party, and thanked them for their affirmation of related work of CISRI. Zhao Dongliang pointed out that the China Tungsten Association played an important role in promoting the coordinated development of the industry. He said that CISRI actively arranged to research, manufacture and tackle key problems of key materials in the tungsten industry, breaking through a series of “bottleneck” key technologies. He hoped to further strengthen cooperation with China Tungsten Association and related enterprises, give full play to our own scientific research and talent advantages, and achieve the deep integration of production, learning, research and application, to jointly promote the high-quality development of China’s tungsten industry.

Mao Yuting, Party secretary and vice president of China Tungsten Industry Association, Su Gang, secretary-general, Xie Yifeng, chairman of the board of supervisors, and related personnel from Science and Technology Development Department and Strategic Development Department of CISRI and Antai Technology attended the discussion and exchange.

Before the symposium, President Ding Xuequan and his party also visited the new exhibition hall of CISRI.
